Arsenal already have their own Virgil van Dijk after ‘most important transfer in club’s history’

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City are all in the Premier League title race and the next two match days will go a long way to deciding who wins the Player of the Year award

Jamie Carragher believes the race for the Premier League title and Player of the Year could be decided by Virgil van Dijk, Phil Foden and Declan Rice. All three are challenging for multiple trophies this season with their respective clubs.

Just two points separates Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table. And player of the year will likely come from one of those clubs

With just 11 games left to go in the campaign, the next two league matches will play a big part in deciding who lifts the Premier League trophy in May. Carragher is licking his lips in anticipation of what’s to come.

Speaking in his Telegraph column, he said: “Having two clubs fighting for the title at the end of the season is what the Premier League dreams of. Having three is even better for those who want to show English football as the most competitive and entertaining in the world.
