Arsenal handed ‘huge’ boost as £45m star now ‘going to be involved’ v Sheffield Utd

Arsenal will reportedly receive a big boost in their clash against Sheffield United with Thomas Partey set to return from injury.

The midfielder has spent the majority of the season out on the treatment table with numerous injury problems, with Partey making just five appearances in all competitions for Arsenal.
With the £45m dynamo now back in full training, expectations had been raised amongst fans that Partey might now be fully fit enough to feature for Arsenal at Bramall Lane next week against Sheffield United.

And according to journalist Charles Watts, that is exactly what is going to happen next week, with Partey set to be named in Arsenal’s matchday squad against the Blades in what will be a huge Premier League clash.
Watts said when detailing the latest surrounding Partey’s fitness heading into Monday’s Premier League clash: “I’m told now that Thomas Partey is fully fit and he’s ready to go.

“My understanding of the situation is that Arsenal have taken their time and wanted to make sure and be as confident as they could be that he wasn’t suffering from any breakdown or setback, but as far as I’m aware, he is now feeling very very strong.

“He’s going to be involved against Sheffield United, it’s a huge thing. If he can stay fit, he’s going to have a massive say on what happens at the end of the season, it’s a huge thing to have, what a boost, massive.”
Partey returning is only one of multiple star players Arsenal could soon have ready to call upon in the final three months of the season, with Gabriel Jesus, Jurrien Timber and Takehiro Tomiyasu also close to full fitness.

With Fabio Vieira and Oleksandr Zinchenko also due for returns, Arsenal’s squad could soon be as strong as it has been all season, with the timing more-or-less perfect.

Indeed, the Premier League and UEFA Champions League are still on the table for the Gunners, and with everyone fit, Arsenal could be unstoppable if they can avoid more injuries in the final months of the season.
