According to The Sun, with Arsenal being priced out of a move for £100m-rated Brentford striker Ivan Toney, attention in north London has turned to Getafe star Mayoral. An initial approach for the 26-year-old forward is said to have been rejected, with his current employers holding out for closer to £39m ($50m).

Mayoral has been with Getafe since 2022, having initially joined on loan, and was linked with a Premier League move back in 2021 when Crystal Palace were reported to have expressed interest in securing his signature.
