Arsenal vs Crystal Palace LIVE: Kick-off time, TV channel, live stream, team news hint, updates

Hello and welcome to football.london’s live blog covering Arsenal’s Premier League match with Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners get back underway following a spell away from the UK in Dubai where Mikel Arteta’s team undertook some warm weather training.

Arsenal know that they need to win to respond to Manchester City’s big win over Newcastle United last weekend and take advantage of the dropped points by Tottenham and Aston Villa last weekend. The Gunners can put the pressure on Liverpool as they must wait till Sunday before they travel to Bournemouth still without Mohamed Salah.

Mikel Arteta refused to provide much in the way of team news meaning Oleksandr Zinchenko and Jorginho who have not been spotted in any training media remain doubts. Meanwhile, Thomas Partey and Fabio Vieira continue to push to return from their surgery recoveries but there remains an element of mystery over when that might be.

A win for Arsenal would move them up to third in the table but will need quite the goal swing to overhaul Manchester City in second. Any slip-up would be massively costly in the title race.

Tom Canton and Kaya Kaynak will be bringing all the build-up and analysis from the Emirates Stadium. Updates to follow.

Team news hint
We haven’t got long until Mikel Arteta names his Arsenal team for the clash against Crystal Palace this lunchtime. It will be interesting to see who the Spaniard picks, with the game somewhat of a must-win for the Gunners.

Ahead of the game, Jorginho has posted a match graphic on his personal Instagram account which could confirm the midfielder’s involvement. Of course, this may not be the case, but the Italian has done this previously when he has been included in the squad
