Bukayo Saka, Jurrien Timber – Latest Arsenal injury news and return dates for Everton

Arsenal will face Everton in their final Premier League match of the season

Arsenal will need West Ham to do them a favour with the Premier League title on the line as they welcome Everton to the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners are currently two points off leaders Manchester City after Pep Guardiola’s side secured a 2-0 win over Tottenham, in what was their game in hand. Mikel Arteta’s former manager David Moyes could do Arsenal a huge favour when his Hammers head to the Etihad Stadium bidding to deny City of a fourth consecutive title.

Heading into the last game of the season, doubts remain over the fitness of defender Jurrien Timber and star forward Bukayo Saka. We have all the injury latest below…

Bukayo Saka
Saka left the action at Old Trafford in the final few minutes of his last outing after a strong challenge from Sofyan Amrabat saw him tumble down the side of the pitch and into the advertising hoardings

Jurrien Timber
Timber suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury on the opening weekend of the Premier League season against Nottingham Forest, missing a large chunk of the campaign. The 22-year-old defender has recently returned to action, regularly featuring for under-21s.

He helped the young Gunners secure a 2-0 win over Liverpool at the end of last month, as well as scoring in a 2-2 draw with Blackburn Rovers, but has not been included in any of the Gunners’ matchday squads of late.

What Arteta has said: “We are going to have to make that decision tomorrow after the training session. It’s very close. I don’t know if it is going to come a bit too early this one, but is very close, I’d say.”
