If I were him’… Gary Lineker shares who Victor Osimhen should sign for – Arsenal, Chelsea or Man United
Gary Lineker has revealed who he would sign for if he was in Victor Osimhen’s shoes – Arsenal, Chelsea or Manchester United.

The Napoli striker is arguably the best number nine in the world. He is a wanted man and is expected to leave for a bigger club in the summer. Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been linked with a move to sign him.
Gary Lineker says he’d join Arsenal if he was Victor Osimhen

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United could all do with a prolific striker, and Victor Osimhen is the best one on the market.

The Nigerian has been unbelievable for Napoli over the years. He scored 31 goals last season and was arguably the biggest reason why his side won the Serie A title.
Osimhen recently signed a new contract at Napoli. However, he is still expected to leave Italy in the summer, and Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United would all love to sign him.

Micah Richards asked the two resident strikers of the Rest is Football podcast – Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer – who they would sign for if they were in Osimhan’s shoes right now.

Lineker replied: “I think I’d look at it and I’d go, at the moment, Arsenal.
Obviously, we’re talking about everyone offers the same thing, that’s what you want, blah blah blah in your contract. I mean, to be honest, they earn so much now that you can just choose where you want to go.

“I would say, Arsenal are probably a centre-forward away from winning things. Chelsea are a centre-forward away from becoming competitive again. Manchester United are a centre-forward away from improving, but they’ve still got a long way to go.

“If I were him, you want to go somewhere where you think you’re going to win things.”

Shearer completely agreed with Lineker on the above.
Victor Osimhen is the final piece of Arsenal’s puzzle

Arsenal are already one of the best teams in Europe right now.

They came ever so close to winning the Premier League title last season, and they will be around this time as well alongside Liverpool and Manchester City.

The biggest thing Arsenal are lacking at the moment is a prolific striker. They have electric wingers, a world-class midfield and a really solid backline, but neither Gabriel Jesus nor Eddie Nketiah will guarantee them 20 goals a season.

If Mikel Arteta can beat the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United to Victor Osimhen’s signature in the summer, we really think Arsenal will become a force in the Premier League and in Europe.
