Done Deal ✅: Arsenal Finally submit £70m Bid in Last Minute move by Arteta To hijack Manchester utd Top Target 🎯

Questions have been raised over Arsenal’s attack this season and the January transfer window may provide an opportunity to strengthen in that position.

Arsenal are prioritising a midfielder and cover at left back in this window, but there is a huge case to be made in attack where the Gunners have struggled.
In the Premier League last season, Mikel Arteta’s side were devastating in attack as their forward trio of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus produced a combined 57 goals or assists in the top flight.

It is fair to say that they haven’t reached the heights this time around which is why several high profile forwards have been linked.

Saka is their top scorer in the league with six goals and he was particular poor in the defeat to Fulham on New Year’s Eve while Jesus only has three Premier League goals to his name.
Michael Olise prefers Arsenal move over Man Utd

New Manchester United owner Jim Ratcliffe has said he wants to make Olise one of first signings of his era as a shareholder of the Old Trafford side, as per Football Transfers.
It has now been claimed by the same outlet that Arsenal are interested in Olise and the 22-year-old would prefer a move to the Emirates Stadium over United.

With Arteta reportedly a long-term fan of the talented winger, the stars could be aligning for a move to North London, but he won’t come cheap.

After signing a new contract at Selhurst Park midway through 2023, there is a release clause in that deal that comes into effect after the current season is over. This is said to be around the €70 million (£60m) mark.

Could Arsenal sign Olise?

Arsenal have been boosted by the fact that Olise’s preferred destination would be the Emirates stadium, however, the probability of him moving in January is very low.
It is well known that the Gunners can’t shell out big money in the winter window due to their financial restrictions, but a move for the Frenchman is certainly worth exploring in the summer.

Since returning from a long-term hamstring injury in November, Olise has been in the form of his life, scoring five times in nine Premier League appearances while contributing either a goal or an assist in each of his last four games.

After supplying 11 assists in the top flight last term, he was hailed as a “special talent” by former manager Patrick Vieira, and there’s no doubt he could translate such form across to North London.

Olise would undoubtedly thrive in an environment where he’s playing with much better quality around him and that could see his goal and assist numbers skyrocket.

Although he’d have Saka to compete with for a place down the right, the Eagles sensation can slot in behind the striker, providing Arteta with an unbelievable versatility in attack.
