Ian Wright couldn’t stop applauding £60m Arsenal player vs Wolves last night

Arsenal player ratings vs Wolves as Saka excellent, Odegaard superb and Jesus silences doubters
How the Gunners got on individually in their Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium
David Raya: Some switched on goalkeeping to keep out Hwang in the first half and then Cunha in the second. Not called on often but looked good when he was. 7.

Takehiro Tomiyasu: Another assist from the Japan international who was excellent all day offensively. Not bad, given it’s not always considered his strong suit. 8.

William Saliba: A rare yellow card for the Frenchman. He was untested for the most part but kept warm with some decent enough distribution from deep. 6.
Gabriel: Another strong display from the Brazilian. He’s been really good since the international break. Defensively switched on and good on the ball. 7.
Oleksandr Zinchenko: A superbly worked assist for Martin Odegaard’s goal was the highlight of an excellent offensive display. Not always at his best defensively though, and was caught out poorly for Cunha’s goal. 7.

Declan Rice: Caught out a little for Hwang’s chance, but generally excellent at the base of midfield. Excellent aside from that though and won interceptions galore. 7.
Martin Odegaard: It’s great to see the Norwegian out there pain free. He was everywhere today. The goal was an obvious highlight but his ability to dictate the game from a slightly deeper role was sublime. 8

Leandro Trossard: Some nice moments with shots from the edge of the box that justified his unexpected inclusion, but mostly quiet. Should have scored a third to make the game safe late on. 6.
