Maybe one day’…Arsenal invincible says he’d love to come back and work with Edu and Mikel Arteta

Arsenal is very much a club where people want to be right now and that includes former players coming back into the fold.

With one of the club’s famous Invincibles team, Edu, leading the footballing charge as the man between Mikel Arteta and the board, Arsenal are very much in the hunt to win the title.

For Edu, there has been a lot of praise come his way since he got into the driving seat at The Emirates and his working relationship with Arteta is one of the key reasons the Gunners have been doing so well

And speaking to ShotsTV, one of Edu’s former Invincible teammates, Gilberto Silva, has admitted that he’d love to come back to Arsenal if the chance was offered.

Well, it would be great! It depends. I think at the moment Arsenal have a very good team working with Edu. Maybe if that is something I can help, I would be more than happy to be back at the club. But as long also there is no need, they have a team of very professional guys there, but I still come back to the club and watch games and support the club as an ambassador. Arsenal is a great place to be, I always love to be around. Maybe one day,” Silva said.

Arsenal’s door always seems open
Quite whether there’d be something there for Gilberto Silva when it comes to Arsenal is something only the club would know.

But it’s clear from his interview here and how other ex players talk about the club that Arsenal are very much a club that stays in the heart when they’ve left.

Gilberto is obviously a club legend and his performances in that 2003 season were something equally as important as anyone else in the first-team.

The Brazilian is obviously delighted to see his former club doing so well and if he can return at some point in the future, it’s obviously something he’s more than open to doing.
